Since its inception in 1992, the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC) has worked to mobilize teh Korean American communities in Southern California to vote and to participate in the state and federal electoral process. With over 300 members, KADC serves as a link between Korean American communities and the Democratic Party, advises the Democratic Party and candidates on matters of strategy and policy pertaining to Korean American communities, and distributes relevant information about Democratic candidates to various Korean American communities throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

As part of our continuing effort to educate and engage Korean Americans in mainstream politics, KADC has conducted voter education campaigns, voter registration drives, and hosted forums and debates with political candidates and community leaders. KADC has also been actively involved in the campaign process thorugh the Get Out The Vote program, Council Member Martin Ludlow’s campaign for City Council, and polling Korean Americans to determine voting patterns, among numerous other outreach activities.
