2010 KADC Installation Dinner

KADC Voter Registration Drive 2010

KADC will be registering voters in Koreatown this Fall in order to register as many voters for the November 2010 election. Please contact Yonah Hong if you would like to volunteer (yonahcares at yahoo.com). KADC has already registered over 70 voters and will continue registering voters until the October 18th.

Meet and Greet - Congressional Candidate Karen Bass

On April 7th, 2010, KADC held a Meet and Greet reception with 33rd US Congressional District Candidate Karen Bass at Novel Cafe in Los Angeles. At the reception, KADC made a formal endorsement for Karen Bass in the upcoming US Congressional election. KADC believes Bass will best serve the interests of constituents in the Korean American and greater Los Angeles communities. KADC urges you to support Karen Bass in the upcoming primary and election this year.”

Ceremony Honoring Laura Shin and Alex Cha

On October 15th, 2009, KADC held a ceremony for Laura Shin and Alex Cha at Solair. Laura has accepted a position in the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC. As a result, Alex was sworn in as the new President of KADC. KADC congratulates Laura and Alex for their tremendous contributions and accomplishments.
